My name is Hena, and I'm a designer and illustrator based in New York City. Creation fascinates me; knowing that a blank canvas can transform into just about anything is fulfilling. Although the finished product may be amazing, it is not as wonderful as the adventure it takes to get there.
I find humor in everything, and I like incorporating that into my work. I gather inspiration from science fiction and outer space, comedy podcasts, amazing music, clicking things and typing stuff, nature's wonders, and wandering around the city with no destination in mind. I often return to my starting point with a cup of coffee in my hand.
I am fiercely passionate about brand experience, hospitality, retail design, and attention to detail. I am a jack-of-all-trades graphic designer, particularly fond of branding, typography, and illustration. I am well-versed in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Keynote, Pages, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
